<p>The Sailing Expert application serves as a comprehensive tool for sailors, offering capabilities that enhance navigation, manage regattas, and assist in logbook maintenance. It provides weather forecasts and a maintenance log for various boats, among other functionalities.</p>

<p>The application utilizes device sensors to automatically populate log entries, recording data such as location, Course Over Ground (COG), Speed Over Ground (SOG), temperature, and pressure. When a WiFi NMEA provider is available, it can leverage boat sensors instead, supporting both TCP and UDP protocols.</p>

<p>A companion app for Wear OS smartwatches displays instrument information directly on the wrist, further enhancing user convenience.</p>
